Chief Surveyor

Clark Donkin, PLS, has more than 21 years of experience in geodetic, construction, topographic, cadastral, alignment, and deformation surveying. He is proficient in the use of many of today's electronic data-capturing equipment, including electronic total stations, Global Positioning System receivers, gyros, and digital levels.

As Chief Surveyor, Clark is responsible for the management of large survey projects where scheduling of as many as seven field crews and multiple simultaneous deliveries must be organized and maintained. He is responsible for managing Nitsch Engineering's tunneling survey services and oversees the company's GPS related services.

Clark is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers and is the Director of the Eastern Chapter. Additionally, he is the Secretary of the Massachusetts School of Survey, a member of the American Underground Construction Association, and a member of the International Tunneling Association. He has a bachelor's degree in surveying engineering from the University of New Brunswick and a bachelor's degree in animal biology from the University of Calgary.
