Vice President - Civil Engineering

Gary F. Pease, PE, has 15 years of experience in civil engineering, principally in site and utility design and permitting. Gary oversees a 22-person department and serves on Nitsch Engineering's leadership team responsible for key operational issues.

His private sector work has encompassed commercial developments, such as the Logan Hilton, to private colleges/universities and health centers. Gary has worked with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, Massachusetts Highway Department, Massachusetts Port Authority, as well as other local airports throughout the state. His specialty includes design and construction administration for water and wastewater related projects.

Gary is active in a number of professional organizations and is the recent recipient of the 2001 Young Engineer of the Year for the Massachusetts Society of Professional Engineers. He has made numerous engineering and permitting presentations to local organizations and authored a variety of articles. Gary has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master's degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
