Nitsch Engineering Chosen "Employer of the Year" by WTS International
Nitsch Engineering has been named the 2006 "Employer of the Year" by Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) International. This annual award honors the organization that best demonstrates its commitment to providing an excellent work environment for all employees, encouraging women to enter the transportation field, and supporting the WTS organization. WTS is a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of women in transportation related fields.
After being recognized as the WTS-Boston Employer of the Year, WTS International chose Nitsch Engineering as the firm that showed the most outstanding record in the following areas: ensuring affirmative action in hiring and promoting women and minorities at all levels; supporting the continuing professional development of all employees; encouraging female students to enter the transportation field; providing strong support to WTS-Boston; and maintaining a high quality of life for all employees.
